Studied under Lyndon Dadswell in Sydney, Phillip King and Anthony Caro in London and worked as an assistant to Henry Moore. Returned to Australia in 1968 and taught at the National Art School and Canberra School of Art.

Statement

By using man-made materials that appear to restore the damaged tree and creating a contrast between nature and human intervention, the resulting drama will focus the viewer to look again.
